Our client in the west end of Mississauga is seeking an outgoing Information Manager –
This role will be the liaison between the Information technology department and various business departments within the corporate office. A lot of relationship building, building rapport, delivering IT solutions to Pharmaceutical, and Sales & Analytics departments
For the various client groups – your responsibility is to meet with these key players, gather the requirements of their technology needs, research technologies available, inhouse or otherwise; take this back to the PMO & IT Groups to deliver a solution
Keys qualities that we are looking for:
7-9 years’ experience in Project Management/Senior Business Analyst/Delivery Manager/Relationship manager or a similar role as described below.
OUTSTANDING, POSITIVE, UPBEAT Personality, Excellent communicator – written and verbal
Strong Project management skills – you will have a team of BA’s, PM’s and technical staff to achieve your end goal, however you must manage your own schedule of projects
You have experience working with a PMO – to ensure the projects are prioritized, and resourced, and delivered on time to your specific client department
You understand and have experience setting clear targets, planning, organizing, & monitoring project performance
You have worked in a Global organization in the past, so you understand following processes and standards within a regulatory environment
Budget planning and management
Previous experience running high performing environments, multiply technologies, multiple business domains
Experience working in Pharmaceutical environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
Technical skills :
Strong Analytical reporting background in a data warehouse environment – one of the departments you will be looking after is the Analytics group
Must have worked within Information technology projects in the past.
At least one of the following : Business Objects, Siebel, Salesforce.com, SAP (not required to be a developer but have worked with these tools in a similar capacity)
This is NOT a senior manager, VP or director level, strategy position. This is a hands on, need to deliver, in the trenches, able to deliver.
Budget work is pretty minimal.
They would have to do some project scoping and estimating but would work with finance on most of the true budgeting activities.
So, ideally, the candidate would have knowledge of budgets, how they work and how to track the spend on their projects.
